The spectacular North coast provides an exhilarating backdrop of dramatic rugged coastline and sandy beaches. The South coast on the other hand offers a quainter, more laid back day out. Explore

traditional fishing villages such as Fowey with its maze of narrow streets that climb from the harbour up through the village or wander into Mevagissey, the largest working fishing port in St. Austell Bay, where cob cottages spill down the steep valley into to the harbour walls.


The more energetic among you can take your pick from cycling, horse riding, fishing, watersports and Porthpean Sailing Club all within walking distance. Walkers are in for a real treat with the famous Cornish Coastpath, one of the most beautiful in England and within 250 yds of the cottages. Enjoy miles of marvellous walks, beautiful coves and breathtaking panoramic views. We recommend visiting the beautiful headlands of Gribbin Head and Black Head.


If it’s an account of Cornish seafaring you’re after then Charlestown Shipweck and Heritage Centre tells the history of diving, salvage and shipwrecks. The world famous and multi award winning

Eden Project is only a short drive away. You could complete your botanical experience with a visit to the Lost Gardens of Heligan or gardens of Trewithen, Boconnoc, Caerhays and Lanhydroch.
